My Edgy Little Black Dress

Hey everyone. Here's just a really quick post regarding what I wore out last weekend. I had been running errands all day with Emily and we were both exhusted by the time we got back. So needless to say I needed a simple no fuss outfit to wear out that night. One of my favorite go to pieces right now is this dress from Bebe! I've had it for a while and I always find myself grabbing it to wear out! With this dress I like to keep accessories to minimum and let the dress stand out. I picked up the boots from a local thrift shop while I was out running errands and was excited to see that they went so well with the dress.

Maximize your Maxi- Dress!

Hey guys, so I figured I would make a quick post about the various ways to style a maxi dress. For a while I  avoided maxi dresses. To me they were like a really bad cold that all of my friends had and that I NEVER wanted to catch. Then I caught it. ( Literally and figuratively. I'm sick right now with a real cold that all of my friends had and now too have.) Yes one day ladies and gentlemen I was maxi dress-less then the next day BAM hit right in the face by a rather charming maxi dress at a consignment store. The price was right and the dress cute so I picked it up and decided to give it a try. Here what I got for you guys. Hope ya like it!

Fortune Favors the bold, Fashion favors Black and Gold

Hey there all of my fashion forward friends! Here is a rather bold outfit I wore out a few nights ago. I am a huge fan of statement shorts for the fall. I especailly love these gold sequined ones I picked up a while back at a consignment store. For this outfit I let my pants do the talking by keeping everything else rather simple.

Apple Sass Saturday

Fall is here sassy people of the world! which means cooler weather, shorter days, lots of light layers and...Apples!!! Ok... I know silly right but what ever I love apples =) So anyway I put together this little outfit for a warmer fall day such as today. I paired my 'Une Pomme' tee with a black quilted skirt, black leather crop jacket and my favorite booties! If you felt like dressing this outfit down a bit you could choose to swap out the booties for black ballet flats and omit the leather crop.

Fashion Show at Bevello!

So way back at the beginning of September I attended a fashion show at the Bevello in Raleigh, NC. I held off on putting up the picture for so long because the quality of the pictures is not as good as I would liked. The day of the show I found my self without my usual camera and had to use the one one my phone instead. But for what is worth here they are! I am absolutely in love with the black and white rose print jeans by Hudson! It took ALOT of self restraint to not buy these after the show but maybe in the future I'll save up and get them:)  I had an amazing time at the show and really enjoyed shopping afterward.
